One reason.
Hi, I’m Ramya Poovaiah, Founder of Rampoos.Rampoos didn’t begin as a business plan. It began with my own journey.Back in 2019, I was going through a difficult phase with both my skin and my hair.I struggled with acne, pigmentation, dark spots, uneven skin tone and unwanted facial hair. At the same time, I was experiencing severe hair fall and had lost a significant amount of my hair.
When you are dealing with these things every single day, they become more than just skin or hair concerns. You keep searching, trying different things and hoping to find something that finally feels right for you.That search is where my journey with herbal care began.

We started preparing our own herbal skincare and hair-care formulations at home, using carefully selected herbs and ingredients inspired by traditional practices. There was no brand then. There were no customers. There was no thought of selling anything.

Sourced with care
Herbs from farms we've visited. Shea from a women's co-operative. Nothing bought through an aggregator we can't call by first name.

Naturally pressed & steeped
No heat that would burn off the volatile oils. Twenty-one days of sun-steeping for the hair oil. Slow whipping for the butter.

Small batches only
Sixty jars, eighty bottles — that's a batch. Each one dated, initialled by the person who made it, tested before it leaves the shelf.

Delivered plastic-free
Glass, paper, jute. Even our tape is paper. Return three jars, we send the fourth free — because we'd rather refill than replace.
