From My Journey to Rampoos

Hi, I’m Ramya Poovaiah, Founder of Rampoos.

Rampoos didn’t begin as a business plan. It began with my own journey.

Back in 2019, I was going through a difficult phase with both my skin and my hair.

I struggled with acne, pigmentation, dark spots, uneven skin tone and unwanted facial hair. At the same time, I was experiencing severe hair fall and had lost a significant amount of my hair.

When you are dealing with these things every single day, they become more than just skin or hair concerns. You keep searching, trying different things and hoping to find something that finally feels right for you.

That search is where my journey with herbal care began.

How it started..

We started preparing our own herbal skincare and hair-care formulations at home, using carefully selected herbs and ingredients inspired by traditional practices.

  • There was no brand then.
  • There were no customers. 
  • There was no thought of selling anything.

It was simply something we were making for me.

I started using these formulations consistently as part of my everyday routine. Slowly, they became more than products to me - they became rituals I trusted and continued for years.

With time and consistency, I began seeing changes in my own skin and hair. My skin journey transformed, and gradually, I was able to grow back the hair I had lost.And somewhere along the way, something that began as a solution for my own struggles became something I deeply believed in.

And That Became Rampoos.

How it's going..

After years of personally using these formulations, I wanted other people to experience the same kind of simple, consistent herbal care that had become such an important part of my life.

That’s when a personal journey slowly turned into a purpose.

Rampoos was born.

Today, Rampoos is growing into a range of herbal skincare and hair-care products, but the heart behind the brand remains exactly where it started in 2019. With herbs. With consistency. And with something made first for ourselves before it was ever made for anyone else.

As Rampoos grows, I want to hold on to one simple principle:I should be comfortable using what we create on myself and sharing it with the people I love.Because behind every Rampoos product is not just a formulation.
